Don't really want to do this but I'm trying to clear some of my parts stock before moving to a smaller unit, so here's your once-in-a-lifetime chance to buy a RARE centre console panel with genuine VDO oil pressure and temperature gauges. With complete wiring harness, with matching sender!

I'm not kidding when I say you'll probably never see another complete set for sale, you'd likely have to collect all the parts bit by bit. These are very thin on the ground. I should say, the gauges and sender are to suit a 360 only, but the panel would fit any 300.

Given the crazy rarity and perfect condition I'd like to see £125 for this lot, else I'll use it all on my upcoming redblock build.

Rare indeed. The pressure gauge isn't *so* bad (240 Turbo), but sender isn't cheap (£50 new), and the panel and temp gauges are rare as hell.

Is there a sender for the temp gauge? I can't remember! :)

cheers

Very useful!

If it was me, I'd be tempted to sell the gauges seperate from the panel. If you put the gauges up on the bay, you've got all the V200 owners bidding as well which should give you a better price. I've heard of V300 extra gauge panels being binned by V200-owners too lazy to put it back up on the bay for sale

Cheers

Erm...'fraid it doesn't...at least if it does, it's like no VDO sender I've seen, and I trawled through the catelogue to get the right PN when I had to buy a new one. Yes, I know there are some things you don't admit to in polite company...! One terminal drives the idiot light (on the dash), the other serves the pressure gauge. The OEM temp sensor replaces the sump plug, but you could fit one elsewhere. If you're not bothered about the precise thread, they're pretty cheap. If you want the exact OEM one, it might cost a bit more. I keep meaning to look up the correct VDO part number. I got my temp sensor in a Volvo-branded gauge kit so I don't know the part number, and it doesn't say on it.

cheers

Sorry for being the bearer of bad news, bud. My memory is that the one on the donor car was knackered (the spade tabs often break off because of where they are), so we said it wasn't worth bothering with, given how cheap replacements are.

FWIW, I think it's still easily worth what you're asking. The gauge panels are hard as hell to find, as are the temp gauges. I paid at least £50 for my temp gauge several years ago (2004?). The pressure sender is also an expensive item (unlike the temp sender)

If you happen to know what the thread is, the temp sender will be available from here - http://www.egauges.com/vdo_send.asp?Sen ... F_150C_VDO - right near the bottom is what you're looking for. The OEM one looks exactly like this - http://www.egauges.com/vdo_indS.asp?Sen ... PN=323-056
...but I'd want to check the thread size. I'm sure it's metric, at least for a 360. I can find out if you get stuck.

cheers

Cheers for that mate, I may get a sender or I may split them up. 360 owners are a small market.

If you put it up on the bay, be prepared to send abroad. Bigger market :-)

If you quote postage costs just for the UK, Ebay doesn't allow us continentals to bid, unless we have a delivery address in the UK.

To get a temp sender quickly fo rthat mate look at VAG stuff passat etc around 1994. My sender came from a passat, if you give them a clean over you can read the temp range on them.

What are those gauge panels going for?? The fact it's got the wiring and sender is just amazing though.

I managed to get a complete kit together, I bought a panel with voltmeter and oil pressure from Portugal, before that I bought an oil pressure gauge in the original 300 series box with blue leaflet and wiring, had to buy a sender and I spliced the voltmeter in to the oil pressure wiring so they both work. All together the bits cost pretty much spot on £125 also have a 240 boost gauge to replace the switch blanks for when it is turbo which cost around £35 posted from yankville.

Do yo have the wiring and sender for yours Logan? If you not I can send you a link to the oil pressure sender you need.
