Volvo 340 1.7 £200
Volvo 340 1.7 £200
Hi folks up for sale is my 1988 volvo 340 1.7 5 door manual
Tax & Test has expired but the car was in use up until a couple of months ago. I have done a few basic checks for the mot, all tyres legal, lights work, no excessive play in steering or wheel bearings etc. handbrake good, disks & pads are good. Car is in storage at my friends unit so any interested parties would be welcome to have a look under it on his ramps if your concerned.
Can't see it failing on much and the underneath is solid, but your welcome to check for yourselves.
Car is in dark metallic blue with grey cloth interior. The inside is mint and everything works as it should it is a gle model and has heated seats and central locking.
Exterior is also in very good condition with clean straight panels no fading or laquer peel evident and very small amount of rust, bar one decent sized scab on the bonnet.
The car has 113k on it with some service history and receipts in all in its volvo folder
The car has a few drift esc modifications which may be good for some, possibly not for others but thought i would mention them regardless.
2 1/2" lowering blocks at the back (also got a spare set if you wanted to double up)
Front end lowered to match
'MIG' specced diff, the diff was taken off the car and welded by a professional not some monkey with pigeon poo welds i have photo's of the diff if needed
Side exit exhaust which is pretty loud but not stupid depending on your taste
Towbar fitted & apart from this the car is completely standard
The clutch has also started to slip hence the reason why the car is now out of mot & tax.
I have brought a brand new 3 piece clutch kit for the car which will be included with the sale of the car.
Note: I have since searched the forum and found out that the clutches often need adjusting on the 300 series and it is possibly not the clutch just the adjustment on the cable needed.
I am not exactly mechanically minded and don't really have the time to investigate it myself so this could be a cheap fix for someone with a free brand new clutch included.
I know the car needs work and isn't worth an awful lot but if it doesn't generate any interest the car can be broken for spares at very cheap prices.
The car is located in Walsall West Midlands about 10 minutes from Birmingham & near to Junction 7 of the M6
You can contact me on 07835000056 or drop me a pm
Cheers Toby

Re: Volvo 340 1.7 £200
As mentioned in the ad the car is close to Birmingham, i can collect anyone interested in the cart from local train/bus station if needed.
Also yes the drifty bits would be up for sale but i would not be offering postage on these items
