i thought i would offer my GLT saloon to v3m before i ebay it.
im sure you all know the car but if you dont ill write a quick bit about it.
Firstly im in no rush to sell this car so dont offer me silly money!
i bought this car from a gentlemen rather local to me who had owned it from new, he had the car dry stored for a number of years and then started using it a little bit. The only reason he sold it is because he wanted it to go to someone who could look after it better before it started to feel its age.
The car has only done 17000 miles, maybe the lowest?
Interior is mint! couldnt be in better condition.
Body is in good condition, the only rust i could find was in the front valance, below trumpet ( bit that bumper bolts on too) but that was cut out and welded in professionally.
the alloy wheels are in brilliant condition.
Any questions about the car feel free to ask.
Got no tax ( but can tax for some one) mot till the end of july.
im putting it up at 1250 but obviously open to offers! i know its quite alot but i feel its worth it and im in no rush to sell.

Hi Theo,
to be honest Im not a huge fan of the saloons, but that is a bloody lovely car and in my opinion is well worth the money,

the key light alone must be 300 quids worth :D

also more importantly, a reasonable price may put off the drifters!

Cheers Jason

Hi Theo.
Car looks well. With such low millage, it might even be worth the money.
Good luck.
Cheers Mark.

Car looks tidy mate, I'm sure you will find a happy buyer, and stop biting your nails!

To the poster above that dissed the drifters, don't tar us all with the same brush! It doesn't always ruin the car.

Hi Liam,
yes it does, by all means drift away in in the scraggy 300s, but dont be destroying ( modding ) the minters!

I really do appreciate the attraction of drifting, my brother does it in Norway, my sister in laws brother runs a company supplying drift cars and drift gear and runs the drift track in Kristiansand!

I have been drifting and the rush from a 500 whp car going sideways is fantastic, but theres lots of cars suitable for drifting, 300s are one of them, just leave the nice ones alone, whats the point of buying a 360 GLT with low mileage when the first thing you do is rip out the engine?

Reply expected!!

I hear ya. Just out of curiosity, would you feel the same if the cars were track prepared rather than drift ready?

Mines a 65K, one previous owner, was unused and garaged for 15 years before I got it a couple years ago mk2 3dr GLS, and it's currently not much more than a bare shell with a weld in cage. I love it really though!
My car and several others like it, which have been restored etc are somewhere inbetween the typical 300 drifter and the BKV boys really, yet not welcome at either no doubt!

You'd be surprised. The BKV *isn't* a shiny shiny car contest, as much as "your's mildly peeved from Tunbridge Wells" would like it to be. A huge number of people, including the VOC board, would welcome you with open arms bud, a lot are ex rally guys which was the cheap motorsport of their day.

A Volvo driver is a volvo driver for the BKV.
A well engineered/looked after car is a well engineered/looked after car most other places ;)
