Afternoon all,

My name is Mac and I'm a boltaholic!

Many of you will know that I have been looking at bolts with a view to the possible supply of same.
Using my past experience and my findings during the resto. of my 300 I have looked first at bolts
which are 1. NLA from Volvo, 2. Suffer in service (corrosion/rounding off) and 3. Those that are
difficult and expensive to source in small quantities ie. Metric Fine/ Superfine. My efforts are
starting to bear fruit and I am now in a position to supply the following:-

Front wishbone inner bush bolt @ £0.60 each & nut £0.12 each. (2 of each needed per car)

Image

Torque rod to wishbone /bottom ball joint bolt @ £0.20 each & nut @ £0.10 each (6 of each needed per car).

Image

Brake disc to hub inhex cap screws - I have upgraded these to 12.9 @ £0.55 each (8 needed per car)

Image

ARB front mounting bolts (supplied as inhex cap screws) @ £0.08 each (4 needed per car)

Image

Rear engine mount bracket to axle bolts (supplied as inhex cap screws) @ £0.09 each (6 needed per car)

Image

Driveshaft CV joint cap screws - I have upgraded these to 12.9 @ £0.40 each (24 needed per car). Since I have
brought these into stock I find Robbert Jan is also going to carry the equivalent (I will not tread on his toes so I
am unlikely to re-stock without his agreement).

Image

Engine mount flange nuts - I will supply as serrated locking type @ £0.06 each (8 needed per car)

Image

B14 exhaust manifold to downpipe studs @ £0.60 each & nuts (copper flashed self locking) @ £0.30 each (3 of each needed per car)

Image

All the above prices are Exclusive of P&P.

Shortly I shall stock M12, M10, & M8 YZP Nylocks , flat washers, sump plug washers, and fuel filters.

Watch this space. Boltshop Rules.

A'ternoon all.

1. Speedy - No - Robbert Jan already supplies them @ 1 EUR each, and I won't tread on his toes.

I will order a batch from him and will supply at his price. (they are the same bolt by the way 3293921).

2. Attack - I will PM you.

3. Andy - just let me know what you need (I will have my "wares" at the BKV).

This sounds very good!!

Shame I've just renewed all the front suspension bolts or I'd have bourght them from you. Looks like I'll be taking the bottom balljoint bolts out and putting the washers on the right side lol.

UPDATE

I have revised the bolts for the wishbone/bottom balljoint - the factory supplied these as 3 (per side) M10 x 35
which leads due an untidy arrangement as ideally 3 differing lengths are needed. the pic illustrates this.

Original bolts,

Image

In future I shall supply (as a single side kit) 1 M10x30, 1 M10x35, 1 m10x40, 3 nylocks and 4 washers,

Revised bolts,

Image

Price increases slightly to £1.15 (from £1.06)

A clip that is always going missing is the e clip that retains the speedo drive into the n/s hub bearing cap.
£0.10 + P&P.

Image

"Later" water pumps on B14s (83 on) always seem to cover their fixing bolts in in alloy corrosion products
this is a set of replacement bolts and washers.
£1.00 per set + P&P.

Image

B14.4E gasket between the air cleaner and the carburettor - often replaced by home cut squashy rubber. now available
at £1.20 + P&P. Factory original for comparison.

Hi Nate,
I have not yet considered that because:-
M47R to Diff gasket - still available from Volvo - pt.no.1340993 £5.90 + vat.

When it becomes NLA I will look seriously at including it.
