Welcome to the sale of a very clean almost rust free 340.

i bought this car off a gentlemen a few weeks ago in the hope to do a 740 turbo conversion and to get some big power out of her to be a top sleeper and a drift car. unfortunately this car is just to nice to cut up and i couldn't bring myself to turn it into a go kart. This isn't a thread that states MUST GO or CHEAP TO CLEAR i am going to be upset about letting it go due to the amount of looks and love it gets cruising around, BUT i don't NEED to get rid of her so no silly offers.

now to the car ... its a 1.4 auto 3DR with the CVT transmission which is an absolute dream to drive, being so comfortable and simple with 35729 miles on the clock. i have only done 188 miles in the car since buying it 90 of those where bringing the car home where she very happily pulled along the motorway at 70. the paint work is amazing for its age being 22 years old and in a lovely dark grey. there are two areas that would require a small amount of attention, both are displayed in the pictures below. one rear arch has mild rust right at the top of the arch above the wheel and the second area is a previous repair that isn't the same colour as the rest of the body. the wheels have been treated to a sand back and a fresh lick of paint recently and also the front and rear bumpers have under gone a very deep clean and refurb. it is taxed until the 31st of this month (march) but can be re taxed as only £71.50 the MOT is due in OCT 2012.

the interior is very very clean with no rips or tears anywhere. the car as i was told was never smoked in even though the pervious owner being a smoker (doesn't smell like there has even been a smoker in there) i have fitted a kenwood CD player into the car just so i could play my CDs from my other cars but does come with original Volvo cassette player and radio (including the radio code) the front seats are heated and the heater blows like a furness.

I bought one with less rust for £300 not so long ago. I also sold it on for less as I remember.

Happily adopted and renamed 'Dirk' - seen here enjoyed a brief bit of sun at last year's 90th Le Mans event. Now has 65k on the clock and still as sweet as a nut! Need to changed the belts pretty soon tho.... Little bit anxious of that job!!! :S

The belts are not a big job if u have the right (or decent makeshift) tools. Lol.
