If it's as good as it looks and you've won, I'd be tempted to use Jet as the donor...

I'd go over both shells with a fine tooth comb tbh. When I had Jet she was remarkably non rusty, but that was a long time ago. The rear number plate panel was the bit that always scared me on her, something had happened there.

How is she anyway?

Not looked at jet for a while, has spent the last 6 weeks or so with the rear end jacked up in the air so I can get to the diff etc.

I did find this on Ebay just now ..... and at £700 seems a steal :-

i saw that GLT looks a minter!

Looks nice but the welding done to the jacking point would concern me, given the distances involved. I'd want to see some detailed pics of the standard of repair. Very nice though!

Looks like there may be spares available soon off the last purchase.

I have had a look around the car, and I am going to have the rear bumper, front drivers door, gearbox and diff, and alloy wheels.

I have a feeling everything else is going to become available.

If the sunroof works, Ill be tempted to take the mechanism for spares

Both Jet and the donor are available at £1200 for the pair, don't want to sell, but I have too many other things going on.

Jet has had the diff off the donor, but since owning Jet, I have not driven it.

Any chance of GLT halfshafts?

.... And a front spoiler/splitter?
