hi just bought my second 340, its a 1.7 hand it needs a renix icm can any help locally from Manchester ? thanks please pm or email me.

took the unit apart ,re soldered the 2 thin wires on the vac unit and repaired the vac sensor input sender with plastic tube and fiberglass resin. car also needed new dizzy cap as previous owner some how mad the center carbon pointer exploded. car now runs mint. just got mot now . just got to sort out the 2 short rubber pipes on top off tank as they are leaking when running.

Good job. Sounds like its worth keeping your ears open for a spare, quite often you have to tell a seller how to check the Renix part number though!

defo yes still waiting on some reply's so i can get one as a spare. just doing some reading and thinking or a Williams engine conversion.

If so i may have one I think its from a 340 1.7 around e plate

this renix is working ok now.

I could do with some spares however:

rear torque rod.
renix(not essential).
1 front brake flexi hose.

both rear flexi hoses plus both rear/front pipes(long ones, not front ones)that go to brake slave cyl.

I've been haveing a clear out (will be posting some stuff up in a mo) and I do have one of those rods on a axle if you can not find one. I also have some new brake hoses in stock.

the rod is essential, pm me know how much you want inc postage - I cant pay online but I know a friend who can, or postal order or something.
If you can price up the flexi hose anbd rear brake lines that would be super- I can get them made up but just lets see the prices first.
