Alright all, looks very likely that Beast is gonna have to go to that great garage in the sky, turns out there is a lot more that is gonna need doing than I thought.

All bits there (including a working Golde roof, with a 2 year old panel on it so I'm told) but I am going to have some. Best thing I can think of is to post below what you want, and how much you are willing to pay, and I can agree to it.

On the off chance that all becomes good, I will have to cancel, but I can't see it happening I'm afraid (unless someone will give me lots of magical durusting stuff, that rebuilds metal ;)) Just as I was getting used to a nice bigger engine :(

Bad news on the GLT mate :( If it can't be saved I wouldn't mind the sunroof cables, if the white plastic parts are not broken and panel.

Why not take the running gear off the car and put it on Fake? sm14

hmmm, would the torque tube etc go in it??? then I could carry out the uber power plan.... Brain starts going....

Oh that's a bad news... Too much rust?

I may be interested by

- the power steering (but I don't know if it will fit on my left hand drive GLT!! who knows that sm62 )
- the boot cause it's also red BUT mine doesn't have the rear wiper and rear brake light...

Where are the pictures again on the forum?

I was well tempted by the power steering for Kar, but I really don't have enough experience in that department. As for the bootlid, it has a small rust patch on the inside (1" round, by one of the 4 black circles) but is probably the best panel

Yes indeed... it's much more common in the UK then it is here...
I know one for sale in the south part of Dutch Limburg... but I ain't got the cash right now...

Sorry to hear that Chris, and I think you were getting used to it and all! Shame that it's rusted so badly, being one of the last made, on a G plate too. Well, should you decide to scrap it, I may be interested in panels, depending upon my final decision on my red GLT and if repair is possible. How are the drivers and passenger front doors for rust, drivers side rear door and both wings? Oh defintiely save me the grille if that's alright mate! Cheers............

I might be interested in the power steering kit, if I can find the later P/S and A/C combo bracket.

Right, she's definately going guys... So I'll keep you all informed. I will prolly want a nice spec'd GLT and some point though, if I don't buy that 960. The comment Foggy's made about the grudge match is along the right lines, though I prolly won't be worried about Steve for competition :P

Aymat, are you serious about the boot lid? I'll get some pictures taken, but how would you think about moving it?

Andy: Most US 240s have the bracket you need. I can probably source one if you want it?
