1989 Volvo 360 GLE Saloon
Welded Diff
Shortened steering knuckles for extra lock (Done by Nev at Driftmoto, builder of the insane SR20 360 Saloon)
BMW E30 crosspokes 14x6.5 with new 185/55/14 Uniroyal Rainexperts on the front, very grippy tyres and makes the front end very nice and responsive.

67000 miles
MOT till December
Taxed ATM but will have to SORN on Monday

eta in the above pictures the exhaust had slipped off it's hanger, I fixed this afterwards and it is now fine.

Comes with 8 spare wheels/tyres in various states, suitable for drifting

Has a Mountney GT Wheel and boss (100mm PCD) and I will also throw in a 70mm MOMO Boss which will fit the majority of 6 stud steering wheels.

Had a new alternator and battery in early Janurary, at the cost of £180.

2l SOHC Engine, 5speed manual, it's the 360 so it has a torque tube encased prop which is much stronger than the 340 ones. Will drift 2nd gear easily in the dry, 3rd in the wet. This is the GLE model which means it comes with the shorter 3.6 diff which means no need for tiny wheels to get decent gear ratios.

These are very easy to insure; I'm 18 with no no-claims and had it on at the same price as my old 1.2 Fiesta. Ideal for a young person who wants to get into RWD or just anyone who wants a cheap drifter/project car; it's ripe for a 2.3 Turbo conversion.

This car is ready to drift/drive, I've been using it as my daily driver since December; I love it but I don't have the time or money to execute my plans for it so I'd rather free up some cash and give it to someone who can make more use of it. It's never let me down, anyone who knows these cars knows how strong the redblock engine and torque tube drivetrain/gearbox is. It's a lovely car to drive and pootle about in, very smooth and it idles at 600RPM! As is normal with these engines. It does drift easily if you want it to, the geometry on Volvo 300-series cars are very well suited to drifting and so it sits very stable at quite large angles, especially with the additional steering lock.

I am mechanically minded and I don't abuse the car, or take unnecessary risks with it. It drives straight and true.

Price is at £650 ONO, Cash on collection. Test drives are available on request. Based at Sussex university, just off the A27; a 45min drive south from London, 5min drive from Brighton.
----------- call or text, I don't mind.

Looks nice, especially on the BBS wheels. Although GLE's actually have a taller 3.36 final drive than all other models.

Oh, it seems pretty short? Standard size rear wheels and 2ng gear tops out at 65ish, rests at about 3,5k on the motorway or thereabouts. Might have had a diff swap when it was welded then (was welded when i bought it)

Without sounding weird, am i right in thinking that's the ASDA carpark on the seafront in Brighton, the one with the tunnel complex and the bridge on the way in? :D :D Haha Many a time spent in there waiting for the parents to come back with the food while we were on holiday

Sorry to bump this as it's sold, but yes well spotted! I'm now banned from ASDA so don't go there too often (dont ask...) but yeah went down for some early morning shopping, sun was shining so decided to take a few snaps. There's a good carwash place at the end of it as well.
