Air Con kit
Howdy chaps!
As some of you may know, I'm in the process of getting a parcel of AC parts sent over from Australia. My current plan (and this might not happen) is to get any many bits as I can, and then divide up what's left over. It looks like I might up with a complete system spare. This won't be cheap (at all - probably ~£200 for the kit), but it'll be cheaper than my kit, and when was the last time you saw one advertised?
Anyway...it's a possibility...any interest?
cheers
James

I'm VERY Interested.
I'll be doing 70.000 km a year with my new job...
Half of it will be during summerish weather while sitting on black leather...
I think an AC will be nice.
Is'nt it cheaper to get the compressor and stuff from local 700 or 900 series instead of having them shipped all the way from Australia?

The compressor probably will be from a 7/900...
It's not the right part, but it'll work. The rest is unique (as far as we know thus far...a full investigation will take place on receipt of the parts!).

Ok, I'll get me a 700//900 compressor then.
I was planning on getting an AC from Australia sometime myself. So this is a nice opportunity.
Shippingcosts from down under will be outrageous but finding one here is impossible.
Shipping from the UK to here will pe pricy aswell... but worth the expense.
Keep me updated!

When I think of it...
When Mick's stuff arrives here... (takes mighty long...
) all I need is the powered windows, mirrors, AC, rear louvre, driving computer and aux gauge panel to make it a near Full Options 360...
Not really ghetto spec huh...

The one I want is an LSD! I like the idea of being able to pwn Saxo VTRs (with wheels spinning madly), while my wheels have perfect traction, even on tight corners...
