Recently cleaned interior, needs dogleg welding or bogging for mot.
230,000 Documented Miles.
Complete history.
Exhaust is a blowing but just the backbox I think.
Nicely scratched and dented, it shows it mileage.
Prop rattles a fair deal, so does one of the ancillaries but it comes with a good water pump and alternator.
Handbrake is high.
Battery is thoroughly worn out, bump start 50/50
One steel wheel has a BIT of damage but not out of balance or buckled. Drives faultlessly on the motorway and everywhere else, all the bushes are good, the shocks are good, rack is recent.

plenty left on the tyres and brakes. Just had oil change and has a QUALITY oil filter good for another three changes at least.

New*ish radiator, newish thermostat, new rocker gasket, new fanbelt.

JVC CD/MP3/USB 50wx4 head unit.

Complete (Airbox/crankcase gas recirc is now VENTED)


No MOT tax end of MAY.

If you are really getting shot I will sort of save it. I wont scrap it but it will end up getting changed about which would be a bit of a shame as it would be nice for this one to keep going as is.

I do want it to carry on with this engine. It'd come back on me if I let it be broken in any way, I know it.

The engine would be coming out (can only justify one 1.4) for a probably never done before conversion.

If no one wants to keep it on the road as is and you no longer want it I will take it.

I think deep down you still love the car and want to keep it (forever)

I'll sell it for really cheap. I just need money for a socket set, spanners and jack.

Also, its got a bit stuck in a ditch and received a bit of a bumper and wing bump- nothing broken, just a little bent. Easy.

So- if you want a cheap, stuck, flat, dented, rusty, damp 340 - stuck in belmont, bolton~ : £100.

Managed to snap a badass rope I got from a SHIP trying to twang it out with the jag. And bent both towing eyes.. Bumped the volvo both ways then lay flat-out exhausted in the sun+caught a nice tan.. Decided to call in the cavalry.

Repatriated at last.

I'd rather weigh in the jag than sell the volvo.

I might strip-sell the low-miles jag...
