FS: 1987 Volvo 340 1.7 Tastefully Modified
FS: 1987 Volvo 340 1.7 Tastefully Modified
For sale I have my 1987 1.7 Volvo 340 in blue/grey that is tastefully modified, which has 12 months MOT and 5 months tax. I have owned this car for just over a year now. I have attended the classic car shows that I wanted to this year in the car, hence the reason for sale. I’ve had great fun driving around in this and would be perfect just to drive as it is, or turn into a track toy.
Photos:
I’ll be as honest as I can be about the car below:
Good points:
12 months MOT
5 months tax
13” deep-dish Ultralite wheels, 7J, ET-7 painted red on the inside with a chrome lip
Rolled arches front and back
Front lowered 75mm on lowering springs
Volvo front shocks filled with diff oil
Rear lowered on 75mm lowering blocks
Custom exhaust which sounds meaty
Interior in good condition
Engine has various serviceable items replaced recently. General maintenance carried out at a professional garage
The not so good points:
As always there are some not so good points with a car this age bodywork wise, but it is 27 years old after all:
Rust patch on driver’s door (as shown in photo)
The odd bodywork scratches around the car
Odometer is currently stuck on 60,000 miles so do not know exact mileage, but believe it to be around 80,000.
I’m asking for £995 for the car.
Any questions please feel free to contact me.
Thanks

1985 MK2 Golf I was in retro parking it was the C reg quartz grey metallic one with the eyebrow spoiler (only one there with an eyebrow spoiler!)

Nice definitely going to be going again next year. Did you see my mate in the black Lancia Delta that went up the hill?360beast wrote:1985 MK2 Golf I was in retro parking it was the C reg quartz grey metallic one with the eyebrow spoiler (only one there with an eyebrow spoiler!)

Me too, hopefully have my 190e all sorted.
Re: FS: 1987 Volvo 340 1.7 Tastefully Modified
That's the only thing I could think of it being for, unless it was some new fad
Be good to see it there, not seen one for ages.
Hopefully my 360 will be on the road or I will have fitted the MK3 GTi engine to the Golf for next years meet.
