LHD 360

Post by mac » 30 Aug 2016 04:56 pm

I realise it's pretty pointless advertising anything on the forum these days after the mass exodus to antisocial media but I'm far too old and cranky to discuss my bowels on FB - but for the sake of old times - here goes,

5 door, Dark Grey, 195.000 KLM .

Offers,
Car in St.Neots.

Just to let you all know That I picked up the old girl last Saturday and drove her back to Belgium.
She behaved herself but decided in France that a correct speed indication and the interior lighting were no longer needed.
I fixed both of the issues yesterday allready.

Plans for the old gall? Well I am not sure. Because of my size I don't fit really well behind the steering wheel but I do know that she has a greater chance for a cherished future over here (being LHD) than what she would have had in the UK. She will be needing some welding TLC and some doors in the nearby future.

Passed Lakes on the way back and guess what, he had the english sister of my 360GL, on his forecourt....ready to be stripped.

That looks really nice! Is that trim/interior standard from new? It looks almost like a 360 redline! Seems quite late on an 'F' plate considering they'd dropped the 'GL' model by that point. Interesting car :D

It is a 1988 model, don't know what that would be in the UK plate wise, that got imported into the UK a few years ago.
Yes it is a Redline and the upholstery is still the original one amazingly.
I am looking for a set of doors (hint hint) now in the same colour, preferably mint ones (yes I know that chances of finding those are worse than winning the Euromillions) and a front valance to bring the car back to its rightfull condition.

What is wrong with the doors? From what I can see in the pics they look fine?
