Whilst lurking on the BBB stand at the VKB in Rosmalen I was approached by a show visitor - I got in first with my usual "English preferably old boy, empire and all that".

The response - "that'll do for me mate, I'm from Melbourne!"

Turns out he was Mark Iceton from Carson & Murphy of the Berry Motor Group (used car sales, repairs and) who have an extensive salvage yard and carry a large range of new, used and reco(nditioned) parts. In Uropy on family business he was visiting the show.

Of interest to those here in OZ was his reply to "do you have any Volvo 300 stuff"? - "oh yes, several rows of them in the yard!"

My cruel (sadly, late) friend who hated South-West London and environs, used to say something like.... 'Mitcham, Morden, Bordon' or maybe it was 'boredom' - I will never know, now! Still, it looks like there's a lot to get excited about in Mitcham of Oz!!

Yea Mike is a common face on all the Volvo pages in aus. I've done some dealings with him too. He was posting constantly about his trip while he was there. Good guy
