What are these like compared to the GLT? Salisbury is only a few minutes up the road.

Although I'm still waiting for some pics from Pete (hint hint ;))

a touch slower but not by much, because of a higher compression ratio (i think, may be wrong). you can always add megasquirt/better cam to make it quicker.

If its the same block as my 1985 GLS its going to be very nippy if in good order. I've done 120+ on the flat in the old one and 115+ uphill in the new car without even trying. 8)

the older cars with the higher compression had more power and better low end torque.

They do need to use 97+ octane petrol though. If they've been converted to 95 octane through fitting double head gaskets they'll have less power than the newer engines.

I've run both early B19 and B200 carb engines with 95 fine. Super does improve power but they are ok and still fast with standard fuel - no mods.

If it's anything like my old B plate same colour 360GLS it'll be a beast that'll go forever and you'll wonder why you ever sold it.........
