300 mania T-shirt

Adam has come up with the great idea of having V3M T-shirts made, we've found a possible printer and are awaiting a reply but just posting to check the interest in them.

The price should be around £15 with the option of saloon/3door hatch. However this depends on the printer as he/she may not be happy to keep changing the design. There should hopefully also be the option of having some text high up near the neck of the shirt on the back (ie your name). All text will be done in the Volvo font and only the colour of the car may change as it'd require too much work changing other details, the shirts should hopefully also be available in a range of colours.

More info when we get updated, pics to follow:

Graet idea, and £15 seems very reasonable.

I understand the reason for the camber on the wheels, but I think it's a bit mad, yo. :D

Annother comment is that the design looks a bit wide for the shirt, you know, nothing above or below... The design should be more square. Not sure how you could get round it, perhaps by just having the side view and not the others or something, but I do like the blueprint style with all the views...

Oh, and make it a V neck :)

EDIT: It'd also be good with the new V3M logo, if we can decide what it should be. There were a few ideas thrown around a while ago but we didn't come to a firm decision.

Here's what I mean about a 'squarer' image looking better. Would probably make the wearer look thinner too ;) I also slapped my logo on the back ;)

Sorry I didn't get round to posting this earlier but I should hopefully at some point today be making a standard version of the car without the mad camber normal front grill etc etc, I really like the idea of using Dave's logo design on the back aswell/instead of the name. I'll post pics later when I get them done,
cheers

Ok well i've done one side view and the colour is now easily changeable, i'll create the front and back views if the decision is made to use them on the shirts. Still undecided about the style of the alloys and if it should have a spoiler but the design must be kept the same for everyone, only with body colour changing

Also had a go at doing Steve's car so this will be used for the saloon version (needs adjusting as I missed out the rear pillar but you get the idea:

Nice idea, not sure if I'd buy one hmm.. maybe if we had the choice of them in black too :)

I did a re-edit of Ali's cartoon version of my car, adding a spoiler, snowcap, rear window pillar and rubbing strips:

Why does the saloon sit lower than the hatch?

It was just that I tried to modify Steve's a little aswell, the exhaust is also bigger on his, the proper version would be standard ride height and small exhaust, also using the same alloys as on the hatch. It will be available in black aswell Steve, probably more dark grey than black though or the details wouldn't show up,
cheers

The wheels don't look too round, do you have a higher resolution original?

I'd be keen. Having done a few runs of these with the Soton K-surfers, if you want them cheap(er), they all have to be the same. It also leads to much more of a group feeling when you have the same item. The only time we got personalised ones is when the printer cocked up and said he'd do it free for the commity.

The usual options for personallised stuff is a Tee, polo shirt, or hoodie, might pay as nearly every meet we've had bar Taunton was cold to think of hoodies?

As a concept though, I'm in!
