I may be telling you all something you already know but watch out for the postage on ebay items.
I actually thought about buying this then saw the postage ,£20.00 !!!!
it would probably make it the most expensive grille ever
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Volvo-360-GLE-90R ... dZViewItem
the same guy is quoting £15.00 postage on wing mirrors
( the one I posted out was under a fiver )
and £23.00 for a headlight seems a bit heavy to me.

Well spotted Mick, looking at his other items they all have over priced postage. I mean, if he has to travel 20 miles for the nearest post office - then fair enough, but I suspect not!

aside from that.. the last 360s made were 89 were they not?

I think there were some '90 models (maybe not in the UK?), but even so this isn't one of them - it's an F reg which at the latest could only be 1989!

Even Beast on a G was an '89... well spotted. Maybe he has diamond encrusted parcel tape?

Read all the description too! Someone recently paid £470 for what they
thought was an Xbox 360. Actually, if they'd have bothered to read right through to the end, they would have seen that they'd bid for a
picture of an Xbox

. Caveat emptor!

what worries me was there were 15 bids on this item so there were up to 14 other mugs who fell for it to, dont people read sellers feedback before bidding ?

Same happens to the Mobile-Phone dummies the Phoneshops use. It´s no phone, it just looks like one. These things are sold on ebay for 200 Euros sometimes. Sellers usually have bad feedback-records though.
If they not put DUMMY in big fat letters in their ad, it´s not hard to suggest they just want to screw the buyer. My opinion.

Its the same as the shopping channels
When they say you are getting a

for £x when you need to remember the £7.99 carriage.

The 360 is made untill 1989, but was still sold in 1990.

Indeed, the last 360's were made in '89, but as the swap over on plates was late in the August, my GLT is on a G, first registered 01.08.89! It'd be interesting to know when John's HUG was registered, as I seem to think Beast was also August was it not Chris? So this F reg could be no later than August 1989..... and I too spotted the high postage cost, put me off instantly, as although I have lots of parts laying about, I may have been tempted by one or two items, but not at those prices!

I really should try and find out when my parents G reg saloon was registered, that was very nice indeed, and in a moment of madness they sold it and got a diesel Toyota Carina, then a diesel Citroen Xantia, but finally saw the light and got a Volvo again, albeit a 460 diesel. It was ocean blue metallic like Steve's, a very nice colour for the 300's. I can remember when the young chap who bought it test drove it he was grinning at the sound, and how it went, somewhat different to his metro! May actually try and track it down and tell him about V3M, and I'll find the one or two poor pics I have of it.
I now know of 6 G reg 360's, 5 are GLT's, three being saloons, and one being a GLE hatch that was on the bay, and my family have owned two of them!

He's offering £28 postage on a used 740 radiator. You can have a BRAND NEW 340 one incl shipping for that much. Someone lay some festive smackdown on this chump, please...
cheers
