hi there!

do you want this part for your car? I have a 1983 340 with a bashed front end and I this is the biggest part of the restoration of the shell.... the other damage is much simpler to fix....

Are you wanting this part or did you want it 4 months ago

If you want it I wont bid on it.....

The front is different on this car :(

not bad for a 340 that left the road at 40mph, rolled over, end up on its side(passenger side) and hit a tree.....

The car survived very well and did its job... looked after me well!!

one of the reasons I like volvos and the 300 so much!

I was watching that....one to add to the stash for a rainy day...but if someone actively wants it for a restoration...?

I can collect and deliver to the meet for cheap if anyone wants.

cheers

Tell you what - you get the part and if I get my old 360GL back (silver btw), i'll give you that - free and for nothing - if you are really good i'll come and weld it in too :D

I don't quite get what you mean...but...unless literally no-one else wants it, I'll pass on this piece. The offer to collect stands though :)

Well I have a Silver 360 GL (B200k) that I 'lent' to someone as I have no room for it now, however when they are fiished with it they were going to scrap her (she is too good for that).
So I asked for her back when they are done  , however I do not have enough room for her (3 Volvos already, and 3 Volkswagens)

So in a few months she will be open to anyone who would like to have a go at welding the front n/s corner - the panel is perfect

Proper His and Her's Volvos, although dunno if Ruth will like the fuel economy of twin carbs..... then you could adopt Hugh and give him Nessy back ;)

Rupert was trying to get me to buy Steve's silver 340 1.7 as a matching car for Ruth. She ain't getting anywhere near my car, hence why I got her Nessy :) In reality, if I get this job oop north, Nessy might well be my daily driver. If I'm commuting from Derby, I'll make it to 200k within 8 months, without any motorway use. You do the maths...

cheers
