Mk3 GLT wheels and tyres

For the price of a pint to whoever fancies getting them or I don't mind bringing them to a meet...
These are the original alloys from my black car.. tyres all legal, just not that great. Alloys are fairly scruffy. Might be of use for spares.
I purely just need space!

Well in all fairness, mk3 glt rims look like mk3 glt rims.. ie. nothing special.
But heres a pic of them when they were on the car:

Stick em on ebay. That's what I did with my spare set when I sold you the GLT. Only went for about a fiver (and that was with no tyres), but saved a trip to the tip!

Could do, but there are some rather better ones on ebay for pennies at the moment too

paint them gunmetal grey, or black, just to see what they look like - if they look great its something to add to the list, if they look naff you've not lost anything

I'm not wasting my time on them

I already have a set of GLT MK3 rims... This set is just taking up space...

Talking of wheels, what happened to your 400 series alloys Steve?

They're stacked up outside at the moment while I was using the good tyres on the saloon GLT wheels. The rears also have a bit of a flat spot having been dragged along the M1 at 60mph...
Although then I got a flat on one of the saloon wheels, used one of the old spare GLT rims and that tyre has terrible grip, so it understeers when turning right
Might have to stick the 400 series wheels on for now... and find some more suitable rims later on.

Offtopic really, but she look's nice in black Steve.
Dont normally like the black rubber everywhere on the later models, but black on black looks quite nice really!
Cheers

Yep.. it's a shame she's dead

That pic was taken about a week after I got it (late October 2005)
