Right well i've managed to hang onto it for as long as possible but now its getting to summer parents want the drive back :( Doubt it'll be much use for an everyday driver as there's nothing left inside other than the dash and roof lining. Make a good drift/track car, good body with no rust (when you jack it up on one corner the door actually shuts unlike my glt lol)

Failed its MOT in October on:
Rust on front valance
Rust at end of front cross member
Excessive corrosion to main brake pipe

All relatively easy things to fix, as the car has been sat there for a while I don't know how the brakes are, etc but it started up fine a couple of months ago when I tried it. Make an ideal drift project, just needs some buckets sticking in and the diff to be welded,

If it doesn't go then it'll be hitting the scrappy sometime within the next 3weeks,

cheers

I reckon the MOT station was picky - most 300s don't fail on front valances unless the leading edge is clearly sharp.

The garage failed mine on the front valance - however they were actually refering to the Main front bulkhead (which is very costly to repair)

Nah on this its definately just the front valance, the guy marked it up with yellow chalk and showed me the bit he meant, its due to being 30cm from the engine
