Hmm interesting car. I'm not impressed with the new Ebay format, I'm guessing it was a one day auction or something, never spotted it until Steve posted it. Mk3 alloys just look so wrong on a Mk2. Interesting about the model year to first registered date, surely the plate would reflect this? Anyway, looks like it's showing signs of tinworm, but what can you expect, and it's still red!

It looks like the seller has withdrawn it by a possible cash offer? Who knows...

And, it looks like and should be the high compression engine, which I really need to compare at some point, as my parents remember them as being so much more fun, and also Andy has the opinion that the later 360's do feel sluggish, though his could be a tad gunked up and is clearing slowly.

Well both of mine certainly feel slow

I know the feeling. Mine has days, like I do, where it just feels sloppy and slow, then other days it feels like it's got some get up and go. A lot of it has something to do with what music I'm listening to, how the car is sounding, if the windows are down on a nice warm day and the wind is rushing through the car amnd what mood I'm in. If only I had the time and could be bothered with all the hassle of an engine swap. As lazy as the B200E is, it's a reliable old lump that can still upset some newer cars!

Nah, the other one was up North (Newcastle under Lyme I beleive) and was a 3 door if you're talking about the one I think you're talking about.
TBH I would have used it has spares (unless the shell wasnt as bad as it sounds/looks). Would have provided a decent spares package for Fioner!
Ah well

Good memory Carl. I don't think that one sold. There were some pictures in another thread somewhere.

I only remember because I was trying to tempt the guy with an offer for the gauge panel, and then when he wouldnt sell it sperately a cheeky low offer for the car
