Ahh, that'll expain that you were LankyTim who tried offering me a set yesterday! Another name to a face! I've got 2 spare sets already, which is why I passed up. There are a few people around without them though, so someone might pop up.

No theres not. Easier for me to buy a 340, although knowing my luck it will already have a set in!

Good meeting you Chris, which one were you? I think I offered the mats to pretty much everyone there. :D

I was the one with gratuitous amounts of black smoke pouring out after I took Fake out for a run... and then the one who sat with the car not starting, in the middle of the car park, with the bonnet up ;)

The guy who had no fuel going to the engine I heard about? I didnt actually go over but I remember hearing it turning over a few times before it finally burst into life. Ive been there before on many occasions, I felt your relief! Still, what better place to have your car break down than in the middle of a volvo meeting.

We could gather together all the surlplus floor mats, melt them down and make snow caps out of them!

dont throw them they have many other uses

ok being as I have a bit of time on my hands here are some other suggestions for volvo floor mats ,

serious

put one under your oil drain can when doing an oil change to catch the enevitable drips that miss ,

could also put it under oil filter when changing that .

put one under the car to protect your drive from oil leaks,

put all the screws /nuts /bolts on it when working on the car so you dont loose them

use it to kneel on when working on the car to save your poor little knees

use it to put tools on to keep them together

not so serious

volvo tea tray

budget prayer mat

super size ( not very aerodynamic ) frizbee

budget snow board , sledge skis or water skis

put under those horrible terracotta plant pots that mums/wives insist on having all over the patio

put under portable tv or computer monitor to protect surfaces from being scratched,

I'd have loved some of these in my first 340. If there's anyone out there without a set they really are very highly recommended.

Come on guys, let a little bit of Sausage live on :(

Tim, that's great. Thank you!

Now we both need to attend the same meet so that I can take them off your hands...
