MOT ends sometime in August.
It is taxed but this would be sold at cost or I'll get a refund on it.
Bodywork very sound - a few scratches and minor rust on front valance and front wing bottoms. Nothing structural as far as I'm aware. There is also some rust at the N/S corner of the windscreen base. The windscreen has cracked and will need replacing before the MOT (insurance job if you're fully comp) and I suspect this means some welding will be needed to the window frame before a new screen is fitted.
Interior very tidy except the armrest on driver's side door card is cracked and parcel shelf is sagging a bit.
Slight problems with electrics - reversing lights keep blowing the fuse. I think this is related to a short circuit somewhere, quite possibly to do with the towbar.
As far as I can remember everything else works. The boot catch releases while driving along. I've replaced the rear hatch seal and tried adjusting the striking plate but it still happens, so I think the catch itself needs replacing - something I'm working on.
I have replaced the steering column damper so steering is now nice and positive and the car generally drives very well indeed. I've covered nearly 1000 miles including driving from Plymouth to Birmingham so I think it should manage a journey home for the new owner no probs.
Rear brakes are a bit squeaky, so they might need adjustment or new pads - I haven't investigated. The brakes pull the car up fine though.
I think that's everything. If you intended to keep the car it would definitely be worth spending the little bit of time and money required to get it up to scratch. It wouldn't take much to have a very presentable and usable 360.
If someone here wants to offer me £100 I'll take it.
Collection from central Birmingham.
