I guess this won't go into the empty space in my Redline's gauge panel? Shame, as I'm wanting an A or V-meter to go in there.

no but it would go in an auxillary gauge panel which fits where the CASSETTE HOLDER go's in front of the gear lever (oh no we are getting dangerously close to Mrs C's handbag again )

NEVER GO CLOSE TO MRS C'S HANDBAG!

I feel I ought to point out that you couldn't hope to meet a nicer person than the delightful Mrs C. Also, her handbag is very useful - she always seems to have whatever you need. Needle and thread, plaster, paracetamol, spare £5 note, torque wrench, you name it.

It's just that the way it works is a mystery to me. It seems to do strange things to the space-time continuum. :?

yeah I know what you mean

I think my missus got hers from Mary Bloody Poppins the amount of stuff she gets out of there ,

I remember once when a friend had a puncture ,

she didnt have a jack in the car,

Julie started rooting around in her handbag and I expected her to pull out a trolley jack wheel brace and a kwik fit mechanic,

I was a bit disappointed when she said with a sarcastic smile that she was actually looking for her phone to call the AA !!!
