Free MK3 GLT Rims

Having picked up some Mk2 GLT wheels from Hugh at the weekend, I no longer need my Mk3 GLT wheels but want the tyres off them. Therefore, once the tyres are off (Friday) they are up for grabs for free.
To be honest, they're pretty tidy but they have to be gone asap as I don't have room to store both, they'll be scrapped otherwise.
Might be able to meet half way if required, but would prefer collection.

Yeah, every time I want to go somewhere I find someone's put a massive distance in the way. However, I may well be on my way down to kent this weekend (or more likely next weekend), so if I'm already on the motorway it wouldn't be a problem to meet you somewhere. Not overly keen on trying to navigate my way round brum centre though, I've heard it's a bit massive.

I can't get my mobile phone videos to work on photobucket, so i've tried youtube:

This is of my friend in cambridge, and probably what weakened my wheel. I thought it'd be safe to let him have a go, as he works in a garage that prepares rallycross cars, and races every other weekend. Clearly the power of the B200K is too much for mortal folk

Should be the awesome B200E, plus 5 bph possibly! The B200K is for the GLE carb. Though to be honest, there isn't that much difference as Foggy proved with some weight reduction at Santa Pod. They are pretty tail happy, but then so is an old LWB van in the wet!
Ouch on the wheel, looks nasty.

Whereabouts on the block is the engine number? I had a look the other day and found a big K sitting on its own so I assumed that had to mean something. The wheel thing was quite scary, but it never looked like i was going off the road. I didn't even realise that's what had happened til I got the wheel out of the boot, the men at the tyre place having neglected to mention it at all!

Right, I've had to chuck 2 of 'em away today to get the mk2 GLT rims I had off Hugh in the shed. I've saved a Mk3 GLT rim for you with tyre if you want to collect it at some point.

Cheers guys, a mate has some steelies lying around, and a couple of them may be volvo fitting, so I'll give that a try and let you know how it goes. I think I've got a bent steering arm too, so I'm probably gonna spend the best part of tomorrow under the car. Which is no bad thing IMO.

Top tip: Get a spare car for your mate to play with
