For those who are not aware of the history of the car, here is a brief summary:
I acquired the car via a posting on a forum. The car had 29k miles and a dead spline connector on the driveshaft/gearbox clamp.
I swapped over the 77k mile gearbox and back axel from my old car and drove the car till May this year, when it was involved in a relatively minor accident.
A van crashed into the back of the car while I was stationary. Much of the force was dissipated by damaging bicycles that were on a rear mounted rack.
The car now has 47k miles, had a full 12 months MOT valid from May, no tax and very good condition engine, (returns a healthy 35mpg with passengers).
Recently I had to move it from where i was parked back in May. It started first time better than my 1999 transit! The paint work is in stunning condition and very little rust. It has been waxoiled.
The car has been driven by a mechanically minded person and thus never rev'ed from cold. 95% of the mileage in my hands has been motorway cruising.
The car has had just three owners on the V5. The person who I got the car off, my father and myself.
Bad bits:
There is a section of trim missing from the surround on the windscreen. I have repaired this with glue but it would require some work to make it appear correct. There are no leaks, it's just aesthetic.
I tried to bleed the brake system before the accident. A bleed nipple snapped off (offside front). The brakes work fine and passed MOT. To bleed the system a new/scap caliper replacement would be needed.
The cam belt is due to be changed.
Crash damage:
Front Grill trim has a minor crack.
Rear tailgate is dented. I believe sourcing a replacement from a scrap car and a professional respray to do the rest of the car justice would be a reasonable cost.
Tow bar is bent slightly. This could be removed.
Rear Diff has broken but the car does drive. I still have the old 29k mile diff/gearbox for the next owner to use in the repair.

The car is currently sorn'ed
I would repair the car myself if I had the time. It MUST go to someone who will make it road worthy.
I would like something for the car as alot of effort has been put into it. I'd like to recover some of the shortfall from the insurance payout.
Feel free to send me a message or post here. First viewings available from 29/30th sept.
It's painful to sell this car

I would recommend any buyer NOT drive it more than essential before repair. Ideally arrange home relay breakdown cover for collection. I don't want anyone stuck if the diff did sieze on their way home!
