I could not see how to upload pics on this post, looks like VOC forum is down at the moment hence my link isn't working at the moment.

If you send me your email address to david.seward@blueyonder.co.uk I will send you some pics.

Regards,
David

Thanks, I'd take the car on myself but I just can't afford to run another car.

I'm thinking about it.

'm just looking for a relatively cheap rwd car, as I hate eurobos fwd cars.

I'm going to start building a new 240 soon, saab 9000 turbo engine with 5 speed manual, and hopefully an air locking diff,

Total cost under 1k, although I will be painting her in lurid colours and lots of vinyls!

Must ask why the hell a Saab 9000 turbo engine? I know they have potential but surely it's just making your life difficult

Probably the cheapest 250hp engine solution available in this country, and with plenty of vauxhall gearboxes which will bolt straight on

yup, saab 900 and 9000's have some fantastic engines for making power - shame they are fitted to fwd cars.

They can be made to fit North South no bother

Yeah.. but in a 240 which you can get practically with LH2.4? It's not too hard to get 250bhp out of a redblock and that all bolts in and with a set of B230FT ECU's you're well away...

Management and mounting a Saab turbo lump just seems more hassle in my opinion. Wasn't aware they fit Vauxhall boxes though, interesting :D

Anyway, that looks a very nice example - if it were a saloon I'd probably take it myself!

David,
I spoke with your mum today and she mentioned theres someone viewing at 8pm tonight.. if its not sold I will be very tempted to take it off of your hands - I have replied to you using the form on car and classic, but have been browsing here for a while and noticed it here also.
Cheers,
Paul.
