1984 360 GLS

Here for sale is my 1984 Mk2 Volvo 360 GLS 5 door hatchback. I have owned this car for 6 months now and it has been a reliable daily driver for me. I bought it with a few problems but i have since restored it back to its standard spec. The car has no tax or MOT but it only needs a windscreen to pass the MOT. I know this because I had an off the book MOT test done by a friend and he said in every other area the car is excellent.
This is the GLS model so it has the 2.0 Redblock engine fed through a Solex carb. It produces plenty of power and torque and i have managed 65 whilst towing another car on a trailer. The 52 litre tank has a good range and it will return 35MPG.
The good pints of the car are:
Rust free shell and panels
New exhaust mid section and rear box (costing £104)
2x new rear tyres (Firestones)
Lots of tread on front tyres
Very clean interior
GLT alloy wheels
Suspension, steering and brakes function perfectly
Recently serviced
New headlamp bulbs (Osram SuperBright)
Low mileage (52,000)
The bad points of the car are:
Cracked windscreen
No Tax or MOT
Tripmeter not working (common Volvo 300 fault)
No stereo, no aerial (some thief knicked it) and one of the speakers has blown
Front offside calliper has a snapped bleed nipple
Dents (shown in pics)
Some windscreen trim is missing
I also have some spares to come with the car, I have:
2x headlamps
2x door mirrors
2x reconditioned callipers for the front (these are nearly new and would cost about £45 each)
Coolant hoses
Lots of bulbs for various lights
Haynes manual for the 300 range (very informative)
The dents that are shown in the pics were collected in a car park by someone who didn’t hang around to give me their insurance details. I have tried to show all of the damage in the pics.
This has been a pretty reliable daily driver for me and it will continue to be for someone who is willing to look after it, after all don’t forget this car is 24 years old and it needs a bit of TLC. I have now switched back to driving FWD hatchbacks so this has to go. It would make a great family car, having the advantage of 5 doors and a large boot or a reliable workhorse. It would also make a good track or drift car if someone is willing to put in the effort.
