not ragged too severly, pulls well. makes a lovely noise, probably ideal for boring out to 2.3 or whatever.

i really have no idea how much its worth...
if anyone can think of a better price, let me know. ill just be happy to see it go to a good home rather than the scrapyard, its begging to be blown or bored (or both)

Its worth what you are asking to someone who need an engine. The trouble is for most of us on here we would want a 2.3 to replace the 2ltr with. You could possibly be better off offer the head as a seperate item as you should get around £40 - £50 for that alone and it could be posted that way.

umm.. dunno
engine code is 19000016229, if that helps? 1986CC, built 1984 (Breg)
its a GLS, single stromberg (i think) carb SOHC 8v
is that the 19A?

In that case I'd say it's more desirable, and if I wasn't already up to my *rse in engines I'd have it for my 360.

B19 on the strom is flipping gorgeous to drive, much better than the solex. Pickup is smooth, no dead spots, and it just pulls continously.

kind of drives like a diesel...Loads of Tork, quite quick, but doesn't rev as well as a B200...
Im very keen with this engine...If I would ever replace it, it will be a B23a I think.

Isn't that the other way round? I always thought B200s were less revvy. Have to say I've never driven a B19-engined 360 though ...
