For sale: LANDROVER LIGHTWEIGHT

Post by pyro »

probably the wrong place again but...
unfortunately due to a student loans cock-up (ive got less than half what im due) i have to sell the lightweight earlier than id planed.

its a series 2a, the rare one!
new top bulkhead, cost 300
the engine is the best sounding petrol series engine ive heard start first time every time!
gearbox is nice and tight does everything as it should
its been rewired inc new halogen headlights, brake overhaul, new seats, suspension bushes, damper bushes.
chassis is a good one, its being repaired to a high standard, no further work required on it.
the brakes are all new, all is needed on them is a final bleeding session and they'll be sorted.
the body work is nice a straight, but needing a repaint.
tyres are new at the front, and part used (but basically new) at the back.
new radiator and alternator
there is numerous other things ive done to it i just cant remember!

it breaks me to sell this but unfortunately it has to be done :(

im after 900ono. which is about a third what ive spent on it.
it will need to be trailered away from Selby.
v5 is present and correct.

good shout.
Landys shouldnt be too hard to move.
Always seem to make their value on the bay. Even ticketless, when theyre solid.
Good luck man.

ahh gotcha

yes it needs trailering away, no mot, no tax though it is tax exempt,

it needs brake bleeding and adjusting and as far as im aware thats it, it will need tidying up and all that, just a final bit of TLC.

oh yeah its had a new steering box/rebuilt - cost 130.
new ht leads, coil, dcap points plugs etc.
