Hi Guys,
There's a Redline on Gumtree. Can anyone tell me what Redline is, is it similar to a GLE or something?
And does anyone know the history of this car...

Oh and do Redlines have PAS?

Cheers
Nick

Redlines do not have pass. The Redline is a special edition with red pin stiping on the side and a red edging on the seats.

It's certainly one of the nicest MkIII 340s IMO! Special editions rock ...

Thanks. That's a pretty mean special edition, just a red line down the side and down the seats!

Not having PAS will get me into grief with the wife, and we've got a baby coming in four weeks' time so she might use it now and then.

I'll have a think about it.

I've never driven a 1.7, but the difference in steering heavyness between a 1.4 340 and a non-pas 2.0 360 is huge. 1.4 - easy and light, 2.0 as heavy as anything.

Have to say though, my wife still managed to park the 360 over two pregnancies. She grumbled a bit though ;-)

The steering isnt THAT heavy..best bet is a test drive with the tyres pumped up corectly..(very important makes soo much differnts)

i dunno about mean special edition? it also has a rev counter, heated seats, lightly tinted windows Wide side mouldings central locking..spoiler etc. i like mine soo much..wouldent sell it for the world...(well at the moment..ive had it 2 years now )
the only other 340 id really really like would be a mk1 343 with some funky 70's stickerage on the bottom of the doors!
