A dazzling array of accessory booyah!

Post by foggyjames »

It turns out the 360 I'm scrapping comes complete with some goodies. Namely...

2 and 3 (two is the more common style...not as illustrated)
Image

4, 5 and 8

and 3
Image

All are complete with wiring looms, senders, etc. The oil temp gauge sender is damaged, but you could repair it so it's usable, and I have a line on a replacement.

Now it might seem that I'm going to be a little greedy here, but these cars owe me a fair bit of money...and where else are you going to find some of these items...?

Econ / outside temp gauge set: £50
Oil pressure gauge and sender: £40
Oil temp gauge and damaged sender: £50
Gauge panel: Offers? I'm not sure...
Driving lights: £75

Let the scrum commence! Oh...and yes, I am a pimp. Or more to the point, the previous owner of this car was...

cheers

Yes, any 52mm gauges (within reason) will fit. What's your offer? They've previously gone for relatively cheap (Carl seems to have removed the price from his thread...), but bearing in mind the rarity...I feel it ought to be somewhere around the price of the gauges, give or take.

It's potentially serious dollar for the spots...but they're the first set I can even remember seeing in this country. They have a pimping awesome switch with a blue illumination thing on it. I might even keep them. Might...

cheers

Sorry to invade the thread, but if anyone has #7 (the square clock that goes next to the cigarette lighter) and can sell me one, please pm!

I have a clock somewhere, nomead ...

To support foggy's case here, I paid quite a bit more for them on the bay then what you're asking ... And that was without wiring and loom, which I had to buy seperately.

I'm willing to pay for the gauge panel, since it's nearly impossible to put gauges anywhere else and retain the sleeper look. People guess there's something up if I have 3 massive blue-lit dials lighting your face up from the A-pillar
I suggest we negotiate around the other stuff I'd like from your stash, oh and I can help with removal too, many hands make light work when stripping old bangers.

I can't help but notice a lack of purchases being made, gauge panel aside.

Are you feeling well, my people? Look at the booyah! Try finding this stuff elsewhere (some of it, anyway...)!

cheers

I can forward you on to someone in the German DAF Club who has the amb temp gauge but would be interested in wiring and temp sensor if you like ...

I'm sure someone will come along one day to take those lights off your hands, if not, give me a PM and I'll give you a (lowish) offer for them, a spare set might come in handy one day!
