Hello all, well, the unfortunate time has come, as due to my commute, my trusty Volvo must go.

So here goes........She's done 39, 560 miles, has an MOT until Sept 17th, tax until end of Aug.

In the past 7000 miles she's had , Oil/filter, air filter, dizzy cap, rotor arm,ht leads, windscreen, wiper blades all round.

She comes with a set of 480 Turbo alloys, with 2 new rears and good fronts, locking nuts all round. Also 4 original steels, with good tyres.

Inside, she is really clean, as a 39, 000 mile car should be. original radio/cassette, parcel shelf uncut. 2 keys and the Volvo handbook/wallet.

outside, she is fairly straight, apart from a scrape on the N/S rear door, and a bit of bubbling on the tailgate, which you can just make out in the pics.

All in all, a good, straight, genuine 340, that has served me well this past year.

£350 o.n.o to include any spares I have as well.

Surely somebody must need a good one of these with T and T for £300 :? Maybe I'll put a blue oval on the front of it, as the comparable price for a MK 2 escort is ridiculous :)

I tried to sell a 2 door for £300 over a week ago, but to no avail. You know how it is now.

I would have thought that in these hard times there would be a demand for decent, cheap vehicles. Anyway, maybe this 40,000 miler is worth £250 to someone ?, if not, then it's too good to give away, and as I know it's a good one, I'll probably keep it just in case my other car goes bang :)

i hope you CAN keep it dude.

cars as good as yours deserve to be kept well by a lad that knows what they are, and what theyre worth.
If you were anywhere local, I'd certainly have it. but youre a long way from the toon man.
If you sell it, i hope its to a forum member.
if you keep it, i hope you stay a forum member long and well dude.

Seems like a very fair price. I think everyone is on the hunt for 1.7s now!

Looks that way Tommy, which is strange, as we are all strapped for cash, the 1.4 is cheaper to tax, and having driven several 1.7's, the difference isn't huge :?
