large scale garage clearout, everything must go...

Post by astraboy » 13 Jul 2009 03:17 pm

Right then, me and the fiancee are saving to go travelling at the end of the year. As such we need to raise as much money as possible. This has led me to performing a garage clearout. All the stuff which has accumulated over 15 years of hobbies, pastimes and ill advised adventures is now up for sale, as such, there is some pretty weird stuff, but thats what you get for being into a variety of interests. With one or two exceptions, all of what you are about to see is used and as such is not perfect. However it is all functional, so please get in touch if you see anything you fancy and help send us round the world!. Are you sitting comfortably? Then I'll begin.

Image
3x Haynes manuals. One for the MkII Astra, one for the Omega and one for the Volvo 340. Very useful in their time, but now surplus to requirements. All of them are well thumbed, some of them are a little grubby, but all of the pages are present. £3.00 each.

Image
MkI - MkII Astra tubular exhaust manifold. Fitment is for the 1.8 -2.0 litre. Bought in error and unused, as such it is in very good condition bar a few scratches. PLEASE NOTE THIS MANIFOLD IS FOR NON POWER STEERING EQUIPPED CARS. £30

Image
One pair of used Sierra Cosworth grooved Brake Discs. These came with my old 3-door and have sat in my garage ever since. They are used and have a little surface rust on them, but have no lip at the outer edge and are more than useable. Will provide plenty of brakelife. £30

Image
One set of AE86 Corolla rear brake pads. New and unused, these were bought as spares, but same as the brake dics, were left in the garage when my 86 was sold. Even comes with original box! £10

Image
Image
One E36 3Litre M3 Cylinder head. This came into my posession when i had my M3 powered E36 rebuilt. PLEASE NOTE THIS CYLINDER HEAD WILL NEED ITS VALVE SEATS RE-CUT IN ORDER TO BE USED. price reflects this. £40.

Image
Image
One set of 12 inlet valves for the E36 M3. Comes complete with a complete set of valve springs and retaining guides. Also comes with a set of 12 completely bent and utterly useless exhaust valves, 100% free of charge! Please note that brand new from BMW, these valves cost £86 EACH. as such an absolute bargain at £100 for everything in the pictures.

Image
One dismantled Pierburg carburetter. VW Scirocco fitment. Taken from my 2008 Scumball rally winning Scirocco / Delorean when a Weber carb was fitted. I am told these are still quite disirable on the Scirocco, £15.

Image
Image
One car fitment TV screen. Not sure of the make but I think it might be nissan. £10

Image
One twin 12" Subwoofer bandpass bass box. Comes with gold plated lead screws on the back and interior leads. Just slap in a couple of 12" subs and you're away. £20
also doubles as a comfy place for cats to sleep!

Image
one pair of 12" Infinity reference subwoofers. In very good condition as they have spent the majority of their lives in a ported bandpass box. more than effective, these will tickle your innards when properly amplified and in the right enclosure. £20 each.

Image
Image
Image
one ported bass tube, fitted with 1 10" Alpine subwoofer. If you look carfully, you will see a repair in the cone of the sub, but dont let that put you off. This is a highly effective setup with lots of life left in it. If you like your hardcore rave music then this is custom designed for you. I designed it for me after all! £15

Image
One pair of sealed (unported) 12" bass boxes. please note the modifications which enabled them to fit side by side into the boot of my astra. These are not perfect, as such £5 each.

Image
One Nomex FIA approved sparco race suit in grey. Good condition apart from a few oil stains on the right arm. This suit was used by "team tornado" during 2001-2002, whatever that is. £25

One illuminated Initial D bar sign. When illuminated the Fujiwara tofu shop sign lights up in a pleasing fanboy way. Bought for a laugh and not needed anymore, £5
