g reg 340 1.4 special edition

Post by dub loon »

as title 1.4 g reg 3 door in red no mot no tax as it is an official write off but would pass an mot when put through so needs to be vosa registered before being a legit car again starts well (just needs carb cleaning)few nips and scrapes 1 dent on front left wing(cause of write off) totally standard can either sell as a whole or split for spares
£200 for the whole parts will be priced accordingly let me know on dubloon17@hotmail.com or call me (preffered)07975716637 anytime (sensible time obviously) pics on request to email
if spares all parts will need collecting or can post at buyers cost :D 340pw

No tax and no test pretty much means scrap value in the current climate man.
That's without it needing Vosa.

IMO you'd be better stripping it and selling the parts.
It's going to take at least 200 quid on top of the purchase price to tax and test it to a good roadworthy.
And I'm not sure there's many would be looking to invest that much in a runner these days.
Not when you can pick up a very good example with t&t for around 400. Ish.

Just my opinion mate.

Blimey, that was quick wasnt it? They didn't mess around...........

It took them just 25 mins to tow an illegal car off the road, when it can take them hours to respond to 999 calls.......... Hmm..

Its unlikely that the police turned-out specifically to seize the car - its probable they spotted it whilst on routine patrol and in my opinion its good to see them doing their job. After all, who wants a scrap car stuck outside their house, particularly if they're trying to sell the house which is difficult enough in the current climate without having potential purchasers put-off by a lump of scrap iron. Besides, how do the police know that someone isn't using the car illegally without insurance etc? They have a duty to seize uninsured vehicles so well done to them I reckon.... :D
