Tape deck

Got one of these, slight marks on one corner but otherwise perfect. I'm not sure if these are rare parts so I'll stick this up here before I cut it to pieces for my mega custom STEALTH SHEILD (to hide CDs). Let me know if one of you wants it and we can negotiate

What sort of tape deck? Pics?

looks like so, goes between the gear stick and the clock/cig lighter console bit

Oh right, that's not a "tape deck" to me (which is something that plays tapes).

That to me is a Fischer "cassette storage system". Stowage of a cassette in any given tray folds down a red plastic indicator to show that the compartment has a tape in it.

Those tabs on the top left and right can snap quite easily, yours are intact which is good news.

I'm sure there's someone who'll give you something for it. I don't think it deserves to be cut up.....

yeah don't worry peeps, not planning to cut it up now. Someone in Estonia wants it but postage is gonna be a killer! Anyone in the UK? Otherwise I'll give it to this person.

It's not a particularly rare part really, not yet anyway. An extra gauge panel in the same recess will always beat a tape holder in a "who's got the best original accessory" competition

But wait 5 years or so and purists will probably bite your hand off for one ...

mm I don´t need extra gauges,6 dial dash will satisfy me. I haven´t seen tape deck in my country yet,but we have snowcaps which is rare in warmer places.
