Covered 107k and has just had 6 months tax, mot untill november i believe.
still plenty of tread on the tyres ans its had a good service including fixing the scary breaks :P very responsive now. im going to try and get the mop on it over easter to bring the paintwork back up to scratch so its looking lovely again.

I'll pm you about coming to view the car p1rate as I'm interested. I've spent time reading all the work Chris C and volvosneverdie (Ben is it?) have previously done and I'm after a well cared for example.

Does anyone have a set of the original alloys available for this, I don't think those alloys would last long where I live

Cheers
Rob

I know filthyjohns got at least one set of glt alloys. theyre horrible though IMO.
Get a cheap set of or 14 or 15 in steels cheap off ebay. (you can pick up 4x100s taken off NEW cars, for alloy fitment for 30 or 40 quid).
And they look better.
But thats just my opinion dude.

What I know for SURE is that it was a very good and very solid car when I parted with it.
Like you say, its had a lot of time and money invested in it and its a shame that its bouncing round as much as it is.

Although not to my taste (I'm from the crusty 'prefer standard' brigade!) the wheels certainly make it look purposeful, and if the tyres have plenty of tread then I'd be inclined to keep them on to save a few bob. Most important thing is it runs and is solid.

I've had a 340 before and loved it, but I fancy a bit of PAS and grunt this time.

i heard that rob.
after 360s, id find it hard to go back to non pas.

and the consumption (i think) is comparible to a 1.4.

Really hope she goes to a good home, Ben and FJ sorted pretty much everything I didn't. The paint isn't good enough to be a concours car unless that's been done but otherwise she's a really nice car!

I actually prefer cars with bodywork imperfections, otherwise I'm afraid to drive them (or more importantly leave them in car park ding territory).

Although my old 340 was too imperfect even for me

And after my last debacle with a 460 I'm after a car that has provenance and can be vouched for!

Do pay attention Mark. My French wh*re is already dead.
And I have a glt coming together as we speak.
Not this one though.
But black.
Well, mostly black.

Either way I'll be at Hinckley tomorrow around 9.30 (leaving London 7.55), and my number is 0790 562 8185 - can you text me your address? Thanks, Rob.

It likes to travel that car does, Came from down south, went even more south, to the sea, went up to Newcastle, back down to Cheshire, then the Midlands and now London ?
