Mmm, so that's what mine should look like on standard wheels.
Bit rich for a non-runner.

Speculative. Wouldnt tempt me, but Dr!ftorz would probably pay up to wreck it.
RWD=money now apparently.
Hows your GLT treating you Rob?

£300 more than it should be? As for those wheels, mine had them originally and they are impossible to clean. They are also surprisingly boring to look at! As for my car, just ordered a new power steering rack for it at £80 - seems too cheap to be true

Bet fitting it will be fun...

Looks nice that does, if it's rustish free it might be worth a go - not cheap at all though

Apart from a few minor things that I can live with, like the seat belt warning light flickering sometimes, I can't really fault it (famous last words

). The trouble is I'm enjoying it so much my mpg is struggling to top 30, and that's on a long run! I've been comparing it to the only other 'hot' car I've owned, a mk2 Golf GTi 16v, and I can honestly say I prefer the GLT by a long shot. The fact this only cost me 500 quid and the Golf was 2 grand helps in my decision...
I just hope it remains reliable as I'm doing lots of miles at the moment due to a sudden illness in the family .

Yeah man, the mpg is a killer.
Apparently the 2.3 b230 mpg is similar, so you might as well do the swap and have extra ponies.
Ive never really thought of a glt as a HOT car, not in the golf gti respect. Its fun, but in no way a SPORTS car.
But i agree with you, for the money, theres not really anything to complain about. £500 is the price of 7 good tyres really.

Maybe I'm too used to driving my Metros as this GLT certainly feels hot! Not as nimble as the golf perhaps, but it's torque and cornering ability are impressive. The latter is no doubt helped by the fact you lowered it a bit and put big fat Uniroyals on it
Anyway back on topic. Out of interest, can anyone recall the sort of prices 360s like this were going for 8-10 years ago?
