Pimp My ride

Trying to make a mark 3 astra look good is pretty difficult, but I think I'm getting there.

The Car before:

Glitter effect paint: (the secret? Glitter.)

I think it looks a lot better now. 'Class' is the watchword for this car, and personally, I think it oozes it. The work for this afternoon will be doing the seat covers, adding a 'bodykit' (made out of plywood) and another coat of paint.

Yup, cool! Been hanging around there a lot longer than I have here though! Few more pics....The dash looks really good. I'm very pleased with the way the interior's turned out! Actually, painting loudspeakers with a paint roller has helped me develop my technique to get a 'professional' finish on the car.

If anyone is feeling generous, please donate a quid or two for our cause, we're doing this to raise money for charity, (and obviously to have a laugh too!) It would be appreciated, but no worries if not, the pictures are here for your amusement more than anything!

I've been moving house this weekend, so only 2 guys working on it today+tomorrow (it was 3 last week). I've got some good electronics I've built that maybe I can get a video of.
Next weekend, there'll be a team of 4 and 2 full days progress, so sit tight!
