First posting for a while.

Post by AUTOMAN » 02 Sep 2009 10:32 pm

Hi all, I have not posted for a while, so I thought I would say hi and let you all know that I have now got a 360 and even though its not a glt, it is a gl, so I am happy. After a truly crap year, I was on my way home and saw it on the back of a reccouvery lorry. I knocked on a few doors and found out where the owner of the lorry lived. I then knocked on his door and when he asked me what I wanted, I just said "that volvow on the back of your wagon". He told me that it was going for scrap and I then asked him if he would swap me for a Rover that I was going to restore. He said yes and gave me a lift home to do the exchange.

I have had the car for about 5 weeks now and it goes great. It is not the prettiest car in the world and needs the passenger door sorting out, but at least its mine and it is not dead.

Good save Ian.
Save a car and it's three years good luck. That's how it works I'm told.
Glad to see you're on the up mate, here's to many more happy 360 driving years.

Now pop some pics up!

Code: Select all

I have decided to sell my other car and stick with the 360 from now on. I have found some pictures of the blue colour that I like and will find a glt in that colour to save next. If anybody knows what the colour of the car on my avata is called, or the paint code, please let me know, as I urgently need to get some paint made.

Hi Ian.
There is a metal plate just under the bonnet above the radiator. This plate has your chassis number and paint
code number on it. Take the code number to a motor factors that specialize in paint and they will mix you up
the paint you want.Good luck with the car. sm4

Thanks for that, but my car is not the colour that I want the paint made up. I have the deeper blue colour, but for now, I want to paint the bottom under the trim and the bumpers in the blue that is on the car on my avata.

Ian.
