Yesterday...Saturday 23rd. 340, looked to be in grey primer...big exhaust...lowered maybe? It was going the other way, so didn't get much of a look.
Anyone on here?

Sounds like Dans?
http://www.volvo300mania.com/forum-uk/v ... &start=120
but then youd recognise that.
Sounds cool anyway.
Primer looks agressive.
And therefor the car will go faster.
Though (to placate the purists) I wouldnt prime one that had good paint.

Re: Spotted near Huntingdon...
Yeah, I forgot to say I knew it wasn't Dan's. Good to see you bud! Sounded good...looked like a bit of a work in progress
I was stuck in that huge traffic jam in my blue V70R...which is far too dull to stand out, no doubt! I was delivering a bed and a sideboard/cabinet thing to my mate in Soham. The benefits of an estate
Funny thing actually...I was following a brand new E-class before we hit the jam. It was a 60 limit, and he was doing 45 or so...so in the end I got fed up and went round him in a fairly exuberant manner, to be fair. Round the next corner (must have been barely more than 1/4 mile ahead), we hit that big jam, and I felt like a tit
Then, on the way from Soham to Cambridge, I tried to use a two-lane roundabout to overtake a guy in a (newish) VW caddy van who was doing the same (over a couple of miles gradually slowed to 45 in a 60). I was 3/4 of the way past him when I got on the brakes going in, but he had a straighter line, and managed to pull some distance back on me by the time we straightened up to come off the roundabout...from which there was almost zero run-off. I just about pulled clear of him in time...and he barged his way back in front at the next roundabout. Crazy stuff...I'd not have bothered at all if I'd have known he was suddently going to go from granny to psycho! Didn't work out so well for him once we got to the A1, though
140bhp (2.0 TDI) vs 250bhp...
Anyway, I digress...lots of weird driving. Something in the water..?!
cheers
James

Re: Spotted near Huntingdon...
I've noticed people driving extra weird lately. I don't think half of them have got over the shock of driving in snow

but saw a few peoples opinions and I think I will wait that extra bit for a shiny black proper paint job like it was first intended

I probably looked at your car anyways as many volvos take my interest

there are a few 60mph roads in huntingdon and surrounding areas which have silly tailing traffic going for a mile or two, obviously when everyone finishes work etcfoggyjames wrote:Funny thing actually...I was following a brand new E-class before we hit the jam.
