Sounds like some nice plans dude!

What is the stripes on the headlights? And is the bumper painted? of did you get them all black(not black\grey as all mine are) in aus?

Hi there. If you go ahead with the turbo conversion i have a turbo engine pipe to suit a 360. It wraps around the steering shaft nicely and is ceramic coated. I will see if i hve a picture somewhere.

It's that angled apature that the stereo is built into thats the problem. When I had my old 740, I simply cut a stereo-sized hole in it and slotted the stereo into it, but the drawback from that was that the stereo stood proud, and also slid in and out, handy for Mr. Car Stereo thief!!!
I think a lot of 200s and 700s were fitted with the normal sized stereos with an adapter bracket, best bet would be to go to a scrapper and see if you can find one, as I havent been able to find any adapter kits over here yet... thats my plan when I finally get round to changing the head unit in my 360.

Re: My 360 GLT... SELLING!!! anyone interested??

Post by Aussie 360GLT » 08 Oct 2009 10:34 am

hey just thought id let everyone know that unfortunately i am really considering selling the 360 :(

so anyone in Victoria (or anywhere in Australia whos willing to travel for it lol) that is interested please let me me know.

i just have no time to do the work i wanted to it and i need to get a new car for work so unfortunately the 360 has to go lol.

it still runs like a dream and i still have the factory air box etc and any other bits u may want/need for who ever buys it.

i also still have the B230FT engine that i will sell with the car. this engine has been stripped and cleaned etc and repainted, all u have to do is get the gaskets and rings and bearings etc and put it back to gether and chuck it in the car lol(as was the plan but i cant afford it atm and no longer have the time).

for anyone who hasnt read this thread the car currently has been lowered 2", has full 2 1/4" exhaust with twin 3" tips, K&N pod filter, modified grille, and JVC dvd head unit with Cadence 6" and 6x9" speakers, and rubber moulded factory floor mats, and also has aftermarket steering wheel and boss kit fitted(but i still have the factory steering wheel if u want it).

so yeah if anyone is interested just let me know :)

cheers,
MICK

nah it wasnt too hard to fit u just need someting to mount it to to hold it there other wise it will hang down too low and what not lol.
mine is still held there by an old 240 bracket for something that i found in the garage and some zip ties lol.
