The coachline came courtesy of Ebay, they're available in a good selection of colours and widths and a good price too. I think mine cost £4.95 with free postage.

My car has a radio cassette but its only MW/LW so no FM. I'd be quite happy to fit a Volvo FM set if anyone local has one up for grabs. I seem to remember my 1991 Vario had quite a nice set with push button digital tuning :D

I saw my old Metro for sale on Car and Classic complete with front end damage. I knew the guy would wreck it.. :(

I was thinking about re-doing my coachline in r-sport colours. My current one is grey and drab so some nice retro colours would go down a treat on smoke silver :)

Who needs tunes?!
I don't currently have stereos in any of my cars, even once I bought one with mp3 usb thumb drive slot, I found out that I'm not that keen to upload mp3's to thumbdrive, thing was then making noise at bumps and making itself turned on at random and somehow always tuned to religious station after it started automatically, so I took it out, started to remind me too much of Stephen King's Christine, or maybe it was just that french crap, which btw happens to be red too, anyway I could not take that anymore and took unit out...

I've got a JVC mp3 one with remote and other goodies. It really makes those volvo speakers sound like they are good! Also put a sub in the boot so I can hear the bass on the blues brother's album. The sound experience really is fantastic in the car when everything is working right. The mp3 stick is 16GB which means my entire library of music that I listen to regulary is in my car. Best of all, it was all free from my brother :)
