Ordered some stuff.. :P

Post by Fuse » 07 Mar 2005 09:22 pm

Woohoo I found the R-Sport steering wheel which was for sale and I bought it. 8) I have been looking one for a year now. :P Also ordered a new silicone-dampered boost gauge with steel frame. Can't wait. :D Gotta take some pics when those are delivered.

Haha. ;D No my bed is right next to the computer so it was the best place to take a pic with a webcam. ;) Now I just have to buy some leather polishing stuff or something like that.

Boost gauge arrived today. :P

It wasn't too expensive because that is an industrial gauge. 30 euros and that is as precise as analog meter can be and there is a calibration valve too so it can be adjusted. Freeze resistant, silicone dampered display with a steel frame. Very robust design. Same size Autometer gauge would have cost 100 euros.. I ain't paying 70 euros more for a brand name and backlight. Led isn't too hard to install. :P

Btw. Is the forum kinda slow today or is it just my connection. :P

I made an aluminum panel and putted it in the place of ashtray as I don't smoke so no need for one for me. :P Of course it would be best if it would be in sight all the time but I'm not a big friend of gauge pods sticking out of dashboard. :P
