Not looked at the rest of the thing till now, to find the cig. advert! I like the sound of a laser beam digital watch (page 9). I'm afraid I do remember my first digital watch, and yes, I was very impressed by the back lit display. It was as good as having a James Bond gadget to a 9 year old in 1979 The 1970's was an exiting time to be young!! I really thought we'd have a moonbase by 1999 (remember TV show Space 1999 ) Instead of spaceships by 2001 we had a man in a cave attacking America with planes, and all the rest of the crap, political/commercial and environmental (whatever side your on!).

But we got those small things where inside all our friends are living, oh and those even smaller things where pushing few buttons on surface they connect to far away via invisible beams so we can talk to family etc.

But indeed, no flying cars or moonbases, even faster than sound air travel got cancelled and space shuttle grounded, meh, that is progress I guess

There are Magazines from 60's, but that is not old, first one available there is from 1926 and there it says magazine is founded 1872, that is quite bit of reading I have on my hands now
