Try Adrian flux, I'm the same age with the same car and I have 1 ync. This year it was £780 but that was before insurers started hiking prices up. Good luck :)

If you do any competition specialists like Competition Car Insurance and Richard Egger will charge you circa £500 for a rally car policy, perfect excuse to go and use it!

7.52pm: I'm jealous. I really wish that I was a) a Fulham fan; and b) at Craven Cottage. What a night for them. The players are still on the pitch, loving it.

Hi mate.
All 300 series cars can now be insured as a classic car.
You could try going down that route. Providing you had the use of a modern car.Perhapes your parents?

Footman James....

My insurance is currently £168... 2" lowered. I'm a bit older than you mind, 28.

Asked about the F7p upgrade, and got told my premium will stay the same, but my excess will go up to £200.

Phone 'em up.

Footman James told me Volvos had to be over 30 years old for classic policies, so no use for 300s yet gave me a competitive quote on a 144 though ;)

When I tried to add a Volvo 340 CVT as a fourth vehicle, they said they couldn't because of engine size. When I pointed out that I already had a 300 series CVT on that policy, they said it had to be over 30 years old. Then I pointed out that the V343 already on the policy was a 1982 model....still no joy.

The mind boggles. :?

That's very very strange with footman james.. I took my policy out 2 years ago now, maybe things have changed?

I hope not, they're cheap as it gets, and if I ever get another I'll be banking on getting them to insure it.
