Well please remember that I still have to apply for the rights to this car, the owner may still want it (though I doubt it).
Is there anyone close to Manchester?, I can store for a short period but space is limited (I have 5 cars)
If someone has space so we can dismantle --- let me know

I am not in a hurry to get those parts, so take your time.
If you are having it you know where to send the electrics to!

Can I keep the outer shells of my mirrors when I convert them to electrical mirrors?
Mine are color coded and I would like to keep them that way...
If so, I will only need the buttons, inside covers and motors do I?
dont think so
buttons are the same as a 700 and a 900 and a 800 and some 400s and probably 200s too, so not hard to get hold of
the wiring is the tricky bit. an absolute c**t to remove and refit, hence why my electric mirrors are in a bag in my room
i'll definately take the leather if my other leather interior (from a hatchback) falls thru

So I will need new outer shells aswall...? Nevermind the mirrors then... I'd rather have color coded mirrors. I am the only one who drives in my car so I do not need to adjust them often...

I wouldn't worry about it now thought mate..although checks are necessary (and indeed, required by law), if it's been parked there all this time I'd say it's a safe bet someone's abandoned it and doesn't want it, unless the owner went away on holiday or something. But even then you wouldn't wanna park your car in some public car park would you?
