time to say good buy

Post by slim1122 » 25 Nov 2011 03:12 pm

im writing this with a lump in my throat. i have just sold my beloved 343 only had it for one year but i work abroad now and cant just keep her on the drive and when im home i havent got the time to do the work i wanted to do to her. i dout i will ever find one as good as she was so im not even going to look for another one. i almost didnt sell her because the guy that wanted it was going to cut her up and make some sort of drifter or he wanted to put all the running gear into a 205. but after having a good look over her he said he cant bring him self to cut it so hes going for a power trasnplant insted hes even going to repaint in the same colour. so this is it good buy and hope you all have as much fun as i did. sm4

So long mate! I hope for your sake your new buyer wasn't lying to you! Don't worry about us skidders, we're not all bad folk. Some of the best examples of many rare, old cars are 'track spec'.

Cannit whack a few well placed skid marks.

Exterior oem spec with a uprated powerplant and suspenders get my vote.

No tacky stickers or owt.

Hi slim.
Look after yourself abroad. Maybe you will pick up a left winger
over there sometime. All the best.
Cheers Mark.
