Mk1 GLT on TV

Post by deleted » 27 May 2005 02:39 am

Theres a mk2 360 broken down in my companies driveway this morning. This is the highlight of my day.

Did anyone see the 360 on ABCs 6:30pm program on monday this week in australia.

The guys friend had a 360 which she apparentlypayed 1300$ for and the purpose of this segment was for him to be a car salesman and get a good deal selling the car (after fixing the major problems). Anyway, he didnt get to sell it and didnt show what price he was trying to sell it for.

He didnt do a great job anyway, not that id do a better one.

It probally got a bit under 10 minutes on screen. s ilver one.

I didn't see the TV segment.

There's one on australian ebay, 1984 model:

Looks overpriced to me. I think the same one was for sale a while ago.

I think I like those wheels more than my 1986 wheels.

Do they have the same offset?

btw deleted. i laughed at your comment about electric windows, "anyone strong enough to steer a 360 would probably rip the hand winder offf".

I 90% agree, sometimes it's handy to wind down the passenger window to see left when it is all foggy

yeah the wheels will fit later 300s. they are, imo, the nicest set of volvo 300 wheels you can get (i've owned every set of stock alloys apart from the r-sport ones and the gle 'se'/redline ones) and i like the 2x5 spokes the best

It's sad when you leap up upon seeing a 300 on TV isn't it :P

Just yesterday at the end of a program on fat families they were saying what happens next week, and the trainer said he was taking the womans car keys away. Just behing him I saw a red hatchback with rear wing. I think it was a 340. Must see next weeks episode ;)
