Re: would this be any good for my 2.3 conversion?
not now it's ended
But i can't see why not, pretty sure it would be the same engine as a manual up to the flywheel. I couldn't say for definate like.

Re: would this be any good for my 2.3 conversion?
Evoman you know stuff. Would it be any good for what I want?
Re: would this be any good for my 2.3 conversion?
Well I dont know a huge amount but aslong as its a b230 it will go in. Theres a few different B230 engines, some are easier to put in than others (less loomed needed etc) your best talking to foggyjames
I dont know what B230 engine that one has, could be B230FT? if so you'll need the loom to chop down and so a whole car seems best and you make some money back from selling whats left of it. But like i say speak to foggyjames.

Re: would this be any good for my 2.3 conversion?
probably is a B230F/GT. Its more the 'automatic' part that i'd be wondering about, From what i'v seen people use the 360 bellhousing with part of the 940 clutch but with it being an Auto, i dunno what the clutch would be like. You may have to pay more for some clutch bits. Wirings a problem from any 940/60 but there's plenty of info on the site.
The engine it's self should be the same as a manual.
In short YES it will work

Re: would this be any good for my 2.3 conversion?
It will be a B230FK or B230FT, both of which are ideal. However, my concerns would be the flywheel and clutch. You'll need a 'flat' LH2.4 flywheel from a 240/940 with M46/7 gearbox fitted with LH2.4, if you plan on running it on the 940's engine management.

Re: would this be any good for my 2.3 conversion?
Steve, does that have the correct notchs for the CPS?

Re: would this be any good for my 2.3 conversion?
Yes should be fine, you need to junk the dual mass flywheel if its a manual anyway, probably something differing in the auto. So just the usual ignition and clutch issues to sort out.
Sounds like a B230FK, since there is no 'turbo' on the back. same engine+turbo basically, just lower boost.
